Now that the rains have stopped, the temperatures are rising and the hills have turned golden brown, it’s time to think about making sure your property is prepared for wildfire season. We’ve already had our first wildfire in Solano County, so while some of us are home more now, it’s a good time to eliminate combustible materials from your property, clear the brush away from the house, prune and dispose of dead branches, and create your own defensible space.

For more information about how to create and maintain a defensible landscape, please check out the CalFire Website and read our article from July 2019.
